Cleens approached That Works after seeing work completed by us for some of the brands they were aspiring to be. Selling to Gen-Z through Instagram and using Shopify as their e-commerce platform.
After initial discussions, it was clear that Cleens had a perfect storm brewing with their experience in the shoe game - they just needed an entrepreneurial agency that was going to handle the e-commerce side, and provide expertise in this area.
After designing and building out their website and systems, we tested the waters with two presales, in a bid to gather data on the customer and build up a profile. Then we got to work building the hype across email and the website while their team worked on social.
Now to the juicy bit, at launch there were thousands of people waiting on the site, selling out trainers and sizes in a matter of minutes, we were all blown away.
This was a perfect storm of a brilliant product, content, stellar web, and great timing.
